After my meeting with Blaze, I headed over to the fountains in front of the museum. I was thrilled when I spotted these beautiful Pointers looking to find some relief from the heat. As with my previous dog encounters in this amazing city, their mom and dad were most accommodating and allowed me to photograph their fur babies.
I don’t know exactly how hot it was that day (maybe 45 C?), but these guys sure deserved their quick dip in the fountain. I felt refreshed just watching them!
Unfortunately, they were politely asked to remove the dogs from the water, but not before they were able to cool off and I was able to snap these photos. It was challenging with the jostling of the crowds but I had a great time with these two!

These are Monte and Molly. Monte much bolder about getting in…Molly not quite sure yet.

This is Monte, happy that his dad finally coaxed him all the way in!

Monte was very outgoing and gave me a really good face wash with that tongue of his!

He is an absolute goofball! Wish I’d had time to get to know him better.

This is the more reserved and demure Molly. Such a pretty girl.
Thanks so much to Monte and Molly’s parents for sharing these moments!
This is the last of the NY dog posts. I have been inspired and will be doing more of these impromptu mini photo shoots.
And thank-you New York dog owners – I’ll be back!
